Heinrich Kley 1863-1945(?)

Heinrich Kley was a German painter and editorial cartoonist. Here are a couple of examples of his fine drawings. Walt Disney built an extensive private collection of Heinrich Kley. A number of early Disney productions, notably Fantasia, reveal Kley's inspiration. (Wikipedia)

British artists of the same period would have had a more whimisical surrealist element. Mind you, I think he, together with A.B.Frost and T.S. Sullivant were the kings pen and ink artists. You can get Kley's drawings in a fairly inexpensive book published by Dover. I like your work very much too!
