and a new Balthus show at the Met for those lucky enough to be in NYC.

Judith Thurman writes for The New Yorker blog about meeting Balthus in Rome 40 years ago and also posing for his wife (who was also a painter). Interesting! LINK

I love the paintings and drawings of Balthus, as you know if you read this blog.

Standing next to a gorgeous Neo Rauch (from what I can see of that trademark green) is dealer David Zwirner. I love so many of the artists that his gallery represents: Neo Rauch, Marcel Dzama, Yayoi Kusama, R. Although many of my original paintings have already sold, I still have some wonderful original works available in my inventory for collectors, such as the ones shown below. These were all previously exhibited in gallery shows in Brooklyn and NYC (Ad Hoc Gallery, Last Rites) or Los Angeles (Corey Helford, Thinkspace, Robert Berman Gallery) or The Shore Institute of Contemporary Art (NJ).
