The photo (above) was taken in 1970, he died in 1972.

Cornell looks so happy in that photo.
This photo was taken years after their relationship- in 1970- he actually sent her away after she came for a visit acccording to the book. He had been ill and she wanted money. So not sure how happy is was at this time.
