Matthew J Richards Plays His Banjo Ukes

I love this little video where Matthew compares the sounds of 4 different vintage banjo ukes in his collection. Such a lovely instrument! Thanks Matthew!

Fantastic. It's good to see unique creations get the appreciation they deserve.
Speaking of ukes, did you catch Zee Avi http://www.zeeavi.com/music/
on Studio 360, by any chance? More neat uke playing.

Still speaking of ukes, here's a photo I thought you might like of a uke book made by a student at Columbia College Chicago in the Book and Paper Arts program.

My final uke comment of the day is, "You can go here
http://www.oldtownschool.org/classes/songs/session10_1.html
and hear E Huli Makou.
It is a fun song. Lanialoha Lee taught it to us in five minutes and had fifty people strumming and singing. Good fun.
