My painting "Still Life with Pears" is part of the Beth Rudin DeWoody collection. It is featured in the 2024-2025 exhibit season currently on display at The Bunker Artspace in West Palm Beach, FLA. I'm excited to show you a new painting that I recently finished.

I based the design of the composition on a repetition of circles and pairs of things. 

I've included a fishbowl and a cat along with a still life of pears (a pair of pears). 

The fireplace is based on the one in my house, 

but most of the elements are fictional including the two people.

Here's the new painting that I created for the 4th Ephemeral-Territory of Girls Exhibit in Tokyo, Japan opening Sept. 18th-Oct. 3rd, 2021. I was inspired by the French Yé-Yé Girls of the sixties. This all-women show takes place every two years at Jiro Miura Gallery. I am honored to have been in every show since the beginning. The theme is girls. Graphite Drawing of "The Apartment" by Amy Crehore

I did this graphite drawing of "The Apartment" a couple of months ago. (©Amy Crehore 2020) Actual image size is 13 7/8" x 17 3/8" (it is drawn on a piece of larger 18" x 24" 250 GSM, Acid Free, 100% Cotton Stonehenge White Paper so there is a white border around the whole thing). You might remember the oil painting of the same name that I did for my "Bathers, Buskers and Cats" solo show last November at La Luz de Jesus Gallery. This drawing was challenging for me and took me a long time. I usually just do preliminary sketches (line drawings) before I paint, but I am trying new approaches to drawing, so I made this drawing afterwards from my original painted image.
