Here is my brand new painting for a new show which opens next weekend in NYC: The “Song of the Sirens” group show: Last Rites Gallery, 511 W. 33rd Street, 3floor, NYC. Opening reception: March 26th, 7-11 pm. Show runs until April 23, 2011.

It's not so much the subject matter of this wonderous piece that turns me on ( though I secretly find it very intriguing ), but the colors are amazingly beautiful and rich even on a computer screen; very pleasing to the senses :) I wish I could absorb "Vulnerable Seascape"
in person.
ps once again, I love the frame!

Aww. Thanks so much! I wish you could see it in person, too. I am really happy about the way I painted the fire in the volcano (brilliant color and brush strokes), but it's hard see that here...this is a digital shot. I took some slides, too...but have not bothered to scan them.
