Finishing up "The Examiner" this week, number 7 in my "Monkey Love" series. I thought you might like to see the sketch for the painting. This painting will go to Santa Monica, CA for the "Aces" show opening April 22nd at the Applegate Gallery.

Roq La Rue "Ever After" Show

Here are the two latest paintings from my Monkey Love series, "The Nibbler" and "The Two-timer". I have two shows coming up in April which I painted monkeys for- one at Roq La Rue in Seattle called "Ever After"- opening on the 14th -and one at Applegate Gallery in Santa Monica called "Aces"-opening on the 22nd. The Applegate show will also be the gallery debut of my Little Pierrots.

Here I am on the morning of the M Modern Gallery Blonde Bombshell show at the Cacti Museum in Palm Springs, CA, Jan. 14, 2006. It was great to get away from the Oregon rain!

This is my newest monkey painting (#4 in the Monkey Love Series): "The Flower Muncher". It already has a new home in Hawaii, which seems very appropriate!
I am currently painting two more monkeys for a show in Seattle in April. And, after that, it looks like I'll be painting another one to send down to Santa Monica along with some of my little pierrots for a debut show, also in April. I will post more details about that later.

Example of double entendre: a vaudeville act called the Barrison Sisters who sang, "Wanna see my pussy?" and lifted their skirts to reveal real live kittens. Cute, eh?
