New painting by Amy Crehore , Still Life with Pears 2023

"Still Life with Pears"©Amy Crehore 2023
Oil on linen, 18" x 20"
I'm excited to show you a new painting that I recently finished.
I based the design of the composition on a repetition of circles and pairs of things.
I've included a fishbowl and a cat along with a still life of pears (a pair of pears).
The fireplace is based on the one in my house,
but most of the elements are fictional including the two people.
