About Me
- Name: Amy Crehore
- Location: West Coast, United States
Painter of "Little Pierrot", "Monkey Love", "Blues Gal" and "Dreamgirls" series (you may have seen them on boingboing). My art has been exhibited in galleries and museums for many years and also featured in top magazines (such as Rolling Stone and Esquire). I sometimes play music in The Hokum Scorchers band. The amazing Otis Rush, from the American Folk Blues Festival in Germany. Fred Below on drums wearing his trademark beret. Speaking of clothes, dig Otis' Ozzie Nelson sweater.
This is a wonderful capture of a blues great in his prime. Otis didn't get what his talent should have entitled him to, but that doesn't diminish his genius.
